HEALING THROUGH STORYTELLING
As filmmakers, we believe that sharing your story can be healing for you, and for those around you. We are dedicated to giving all children, no matter their circumstances, the opportunity to explore who they are and how they see the world around them. It is an honor to work with children throughout their healing process, and to work with organizations that help them. The videos we create through Portraits that Heal are a testament to the strength, resilience, and hope that kids and their families demonstrate in the face of fear and pain.

Portraits that Heal filmmakers proudly work directly with families and with non-profit organizations that serve children who are dealing with serious illnesses. We help children share and honor their unique stories of struggle and triumph. Through our videos, we document the wonder and hope that every day can bring.
MEET EDIE
We met Edie through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
"Working with your team was so easy," says Edie's dad, Nick. "You were able to give our story a true voice and share the innocence and bravery of our daughter Edie with everyone. We will forever cherish this video."
MEET KAELA
Kaela's family told us that, through our Portraits that Heal video, we "were able to capture Kaela being herself, doing the things she loves, like Taekwondo, swimming, playing piano."
The family also revealed what surprised them about the video,. Her father shared, "I love the fact that all the questions you asked were unscripted. I got so emotional just listening to her story."

There are two ways to contribute to creating Portraits that Heal custom videos. You can purchase a Portraits that Heal video for a friend or neighbor in need, or you can contribute to the Portraits that Heal Fund.

The Portraits that Heal Fund helps to offset the costs of custom Portraits that Heal videos for the families of children in need. We welcome contributions made in honor of friends and family. And we greatly appreciate your generosity.
